Why should we always have corks in the car?

Let me explain to you why such a small object is so important in our interiors.

You’ll see, you won’t be able to do without it.

Because it really is super practical in everyday life.

Whether it’s deodorising odours or removing moisture, cork has more than one trick up its sleeve.

Do you regularly mist up in your car?

Not easy to drive when you can’t see well.

Here’s a simple and natural tip to overcome it.

Take some untreated corks and cut them in half.

Then place them in the passenger compartment and let them soak in.

Cork is a material that naturally absorbs moisture.

It is therefore not necessary to use a chemical dehumidifier.

On the other hand, you need to think about tackling the causes of this fogging.

Because it doesn’t happen for nothing.

The cause may be poor ventilation or a sealing problem in the car that allows moisture to penetrate.

Sometimes our cars don’t always smell good.

It must be said that we do things inside: eat, smoke …

And I personally hate the smell of air freshener trees.

Way too chemical…and way too expensive!

So my grandmother gave me her super simple tip.

Just cut the cork in half.

And put a drop of perfume or essential oil on each half.

And off we go! The good odour spreads everywhere in just a few seconds.

As cork is porous, it retains the scent for several days.

On the other hand, don’t hesitate to reapply it every 5 or 6 days for an effective and powerful deodorising effect.

Don’t want strong fragrances in your car?

All you have to do is place a few “natural” bottle caps in the passenger compartment to neutralise bad odours.

In very heavy frost, the rubber of the windscreen wipers sticks to the windscreen.

And of course it damages them badly.
