Mice are a health risk due to their waste being everywhere, and they create havoc by eating anything in sight. Mice are hard to catch because of their intelligence. But there are ways to frighten them away and make them think twice before coming back.

1. Cat Detritus

The presence of mice is likely to be absent in a residence inhabited by a feline. A workaround exists in case your feline friend has given up or is unable to reach the entry points for mice.

To deter mice, scatter a little cat litter in their usual hiding spots. Because of its unpleasant odor, these pests will avoid your cat, and you may take pleasure in the fact that you prevented unnecessary suffering.

2-Oil of the eucalyptus tree

Nothing matches the pure and mild eucalyptus essential oil for driving mice away. The odor is intolerable to rodents like mice. So, all you have to do is dab some eucalyptus essential oil onto a piece of cloth and lay it in the areas where its four-legged nibblers like to hang out. Rats and mice should flee immediately.

3. The Enemy of Mice: Aluminum Paper

A helpful hint: stuff lemon slices with peppercorns and set them in the corners of your rooms.
