How to wash a pillow with baking soda
To carry out this wash, use the following products:
- Clothing detergent;
- Half a cup of baking soda;
- Lavender essential oil.
How to wash:
Set the washer for a heavy wash and add all the ingredients to the washer, along with the pillows. Carry out normal washing, spin dry and leave to dry in the shade, in a cool, ventilated place.
Observation: Every time you wash the cushions, make sure they are completely dry before use, if they have moisture, cancel use until completely dry, thus avoiding the proliferation of fungi and mites.

Physiotherapists and doctors suggest changing pillows every two years as they have an expiration date.
Since the pillow is an ideal hiding place for mites and microorganisms, which feed on the secretions eliminated during sleep, sometimes washing is not the solution, but rather disposal. Check in advance whether it is really worth washing it.
