One teaspoon is enough for your plants to flourish: pour it into the soil

as pesticide

If, on the other hand, our plants have been affected by parasites, we can opt for a water solution in which to dissolve 2 tablespoons of wood ash. We transfer everything to a spray container and then shake before spraying the leaves and soil to take advantage of their antiparasitic action.

as a degreaser

We can reuse the same solution at home as a degreasing spray for our embedded pots. Simply spray the solution on the scale and then scrub with the usual sponge that we use to clean dishes. The result, in steel pots, will be impeccable!

for the lie

If, on the other hand, we want to prepare lye at home, the solution to create homemade soaps, we can follow this procedure. We mix 1 cup of ash with 5 cups of water in a saucepan. We turn on the heat and from the moment of boiling we cook for 2 hours with a lid on medium-low heat.
Stir occasionally.
We remove from the heat and cover. We let it rest overnight. This way the lye will rise and the ash will settle to the bottom. Now we are going to transfer the liquid with a cloth, being careful not to let the ash fall. Then transfer it to a clear bottle of old detergent. This way we will have obtained our bleach additive and washing machine detergent!
