The natural trap against flies, mosquitoes and other insects

Today we are going to reveal  the system to make a natural trap at  almost zero cost to permanently get rid of  flies and mosquitoes . Atro what zampironi! With this system  you will definitively solve the annoying problem of insects circulating around the house or buzzing around you.

All you need is:

  • a plastic bottle;
  • plastic jar;
  • dry yeast;
  • cane sugar, barley malt or honey.

Let’s get started. With the help of a knife,  cut your plastic bottle in two . Pry off the lid and insert the  smaller part, properly upside down, into the larger one.

Take a medium-sized plastic jar  and make holes in the sides  (you can find it already perforated even in stores) inside which you will pass  rubber or plastic lids  that are always perforated and of the same size. These holes serve to attract insects.

Inside the jar  insert 2 tablespoons of barley malt or honey or brown sugar.  These sugary ingredients will attract insects. You will have to do the same in the bottle, the one you use as a base.

Continue adding  1 teaspoon of yeast, an ingredient that will activate the carbon dioxide production process,  and add – to both the bottle and the jar –  a glass of warm water . Mix well and wait.

At this stage,  close the jar with its lid and the base of the bottle with the previously cut neck.  Here we go!  Your natural trap for flies, mosquitoes and other insects is ready!

You can place it in the house or in the garden (in the case of the jar, remember to lift the lid!). You will see that with this technique you will definitely solve the problem of annoying insects.

There are also  other methods  that we want to suggest to you and that are just as effective. Do you know that  water scares flies ? Let’s explain.  Fill the transparent plastic bags with water  and hang them in the garden or on the terrace. The light creates a play of images that scares the flies who see themselves “mammoth” reflected in the water, causing them to escape.

Have you ever thought about putting  special plants  on your balcony? There are some that are real repellents:

  • Citronella;
  • laurel;
  • basil;
  • ask;
  • lavender;
  • calendula.

Even  a bait made of milk, sugar and vinegar  keeps insects away from your home. Heat  500 ml of milk, 3 tablespoons of vinegar and 4 tablespoons of sugar for 15 minutes.  Pour the mixture into some basins that you will leave in the different corners of the balcony or terrace: goodbye insects!

There are  so many natural solutions to protect yourself from flies, mosquitoes, and more.  Forget the classic  zampironi and try these systems that are really effective.
