We are well aware of the difficulty of handling this material. It’s true that it creates such a welcoming environment that it’s hard to imagine anything else so evocative.
But once we choose to maintain or install it, then we are plagued with arduous maintenance. All it takes is one scratch and it looks instantly ruined! How sad !
However, calling in a technician to have it polished again comes at a considerable cost.
Take a deep breath and make yourself a nice cup of tea… So do it like this!

Scratches on hardwood floors are unsightly and frustrating, let’s face it. The wood eventually loses its natural warmth and defects become more and more obvious. However, tea is enough to solve this annoying problem. The tannins present, in fact, will revive the color and make it uniform. Prepare a pot of boiling water, then steep 15 black tea bags for 6 minutes. It must be very busy! Remove them and let the liquid cool completely. Now dip a microfiber cloth or mop inside and wipe it on the surface to be treated. Distribute equally in the surrounding area or throughout the room to polish each strip, take care to spread it well and in an even layer to avoid stains. Let it dry, then admire the result! The parquet floor looks almost new!
