Zucchini is a very important vegetable crop. Their cultivation is not complicated, but requires certain knowledge. You need to know how to care for them at different stages of development. Their fertilization should be carried out regularly, because all representatives of the cucurbit family assimilate many nutrients from the soil.

Many gardeners face the problem of deterioration, rotting of barely attached zucchini. There are several causes for this.

One of them is cold and rainy weather: zucchini flowers are not pollinated, the air inside the bushes is poor.

Another cause is too thick bushes. Try cutting off large leaves at the base of the bush to allow light and air to get inside. Cut only the leaves, leaving their stems or stems (they are quite thick) on the bush, to avoid getting sick.

Another cause, which many are unaware of, is rotting of the flower at the top of the zucchini, which also causes the fruit to rot. If you notice that the zucchini flowers do not fall off after a certain period of time, simply remove them manually.
