The first method is the classic Marseille soap . This was already used by mothers and grandmothers to obtain super clean and scented clothes. This soap exists in both a solid version and a liquid version, and the latter can be poured into the detergent drawer before starting the washing machine program. Marseille soap will be like a fabric softener.

Another truly unbeatable remedy is vinegar. Simply pour a little vinegar diluted in water into the washing machine before washing it and this will eliminate any odor. However, it is recommended to add it to the detergent drawer and not to the drum.
The combination of vinegar and baking soda is also very effective. Together these two ingredients are excellent against bacteria since they perform an antibacterial function. However, the advice is to use this method especially when washing light and white clothes, since baking soda also has a bleaching action.
