Grease on wood can be a real nuisance. Here are some tips to remove it and make your furniture and floors look like new.  It is physiological that wooden furniture and floors can, over time, become dirty with grease, especially if they are placed in the kitchen.

How does grease form on wood?

The wooden furniture and parquet flooring are beautiful to look at and very functional. Their durability and the look they impart are truly second to none. However, constant maintenance  is necessary to keep them looking new for longer. Also because, especially if parquet and wooden furniture are placed in the kitchen, they could become dirty with grease over time. The latter could come from daily food preparation activities.

Grease on wood: methods to remove it

The first remedy for degreasing wood is to use ingredients that are very easily found in our kitchens. We’re talking vegetable oil, baking soda and a toothbrush. To finish the job you can use a clean, dry cloth.
