Step 3: Seal and Store
Securely close the bottle or jar, ensuring it is tightly sealed. Store the container in a cool, dark place, such as a pantry or cupboard. Allow the citrus peels to infuse in the vodka for a minimum of 6 to 8 weeks. During this time, the vodka will gradually take on the flavors and scents of the lemon and orange peels.
