Angel eyes: Our favorite Christmas cookies – unchallenged in 1st place, for approx. 40 pieces

Total time approx. 2 hours 50 minutes
Knead all ingredients together with the kneading hooks into a smooth dough. Chill for 1 – 2 hours.

Line a baking sheet with baking paper. The oven at 200 degrees top / bottom heat ( circulating air approx. Preheat 180 degrees ).

Form small balls out of the dough and put them on the baking sheet. Drill hollows into the balls with a spoon handle immersed in flour. Attention – please do not pierce!
Stir the jam smoothly and fill it with a piping bag ( I always do this with a small espresso spoon ) in the recesses of the dough balls.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 – 15 minutes. Please watch! You mustn’t get too brown!
Let cool, then dust with icing sugar.

Results in approx. 40 pieces.
