How many times have you opened the oven door after using it and found encrustations and dirt stuck everywhere? I imagine almost always !

And how hard it is to clean it thoroughly and remove all those encrustations!

But today we will tell you a secret : it is possible to soften all the dirt from the oven using just a bowl . Do you want to know how to do it? Let’s find out together !
Type of bowl

Even before we see together how to try this method, we recommend that you carefully and carefully choose the type of bowl to use.

Since this container must be placed in the oven while it is turned on , you will need to get one made of earthenware, glass or ceramic, so that it can withstand high temperatures.

If, however, you have to try the bowl method with the oven off , then any one will do.
Bicarbonate

Let’s start with bicarbonate , which is an ingredient capable of degreasing and cleaning thoroughly. Furthermore, it will also help to remove bad odors impregnated in the compartment of your oven!

All you need to do is pour a few tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda into a bowl containing a little water and then place it in the oven.

At this point, turn on the appliance at 170/180° and close the door so that the bicarbonate can soften the encrustation.

Once the mixture has almost completely evaporated, wait until the oven becomes a little warm and wipe with a cloth to remove all the softened dirt.
Vinegar

Another very effective trick is to use vinegar , which is also able to remove encrustations on the hob!

You will therefore have to pour 2 glasses of white vinegar into a saucepan and bring them to the boil. Then, pour them into two bowls and place them in the oven while they are still steaming .

At this point, close the oven door and leave them to act for about 30 minutes so that the vinegar can evaporate and soften the dirt and encrustations present.

Finally, let the oven cool and proceed with cleaning, wiping with a sponge and rinsing with water and white vinegar .
Citric acid

As an alternative to vinegar, you can also use citric acid, considered a natural limescale remover capable of thoroughly cleaning the dishwasher and washing machine!
