Suction cup
This is undoubtedly the best known method but you still need to master the real technique to use it.
How to do ?

In fact, it is not enough to place the suction cup on the drain and pump… You have to create a vacuum for it to work, that is to say, plug all the holes.
Cover the “overflow” hole with a damp cloth so that no air enters,
place the suction cup on the drain and run water until all the rubber on the suction cup is covered.
Now you can press on the suction cup to make air flows.
Repeat the operation until the obstruction disappears and all the water drains away.

Soda Crystals
If your cork is really tough, step it up a notch by using soda crystals, which are more corrosive.
How to do

Use gloves and goggles to protect yourself and avoid burns.
Put 100 g of crystals in a container and add 2 liters of boiling water,
Mix well then pour this preparation into the drain,
Leave to act for several hours without running water,
It is preferable to do this in the evening before go to bed to let it rest overnight.
Rinse the next day.
If, despite all these tips, your traffic jam persists, you will have to roll up your sleeves and get down to business.
