That is the only way to eliminate strawberry pesticides, but we are all wrong.

I do this to wash strawberries, to get rid of pesticides.

This year again, the; Dirty Dozen, the terrible dozen, was published: EWG, an acronym for Environmental Working Group, an American nonprofit organization that advocates for environmental protection, has established the classification of fruit and vegetables to determine the amount of pesticides present.

The strawberries won the gold medal and occupied first place in the 12-orter of 2023. When they come from traditional and non-organic crops, they are unfortunately treated with chemical additives which, by their nature, tend to be absorbed like sponges.

We must bear in mind that they do not have protective skin, so nothing protects them from attacking parasites or toxic substances.

However, they do not contain potassium, manganese, folic acid, vitamin C and antioxidants that are very useful for heart and skin health. In short, they are a panacea for the body.

There is only one solution: wash well. That's for sure. But how can we be sure that we have eliminated all the residues of harmful substances? Can we explain it to you?

Always wash strawberries before eating them. Don't do it in advance. Even if you dry them very well, the humidity accelerates their rotting.
