Black mold on the windows will no longer be a problem, citric acid will take care of it

Introduction: Black mould on windows is a common problem during the winter, mainly due to constant condensation on glass and insufficient ventilation. However, eliminating this phenomenon requires rapid action, as mold can be harmful to health.

Why is mould forming? Mould may also result from the installation of new windows. Replacing old windows, which allow air to pass through, with new waterproof windows may unwittingly create favourable conditions for mould. However, the most common cause of this problem is a poor ventilation system.

How to combat mould: To remove mold, you do not need to buy specialised products. Instead, you can use sodium bicarbonate and citric acid, effective and readily available solutions. Mix them in a 2:1 ratio with a little water to form a paste. Apply this paste to the mold and leave to act for 20 minutes. Then rinse and wipe the area with a dry cloth. This will completely eliminate mould. However, it is important never to scratch the mold with a dry sponge or brush, as this could damage the window.
