Smell the trash can

It goes without saying, but it is of course necessary to empty the bathroom trash can every day. Otherwise, it will quickly be full to the brim with various dirt: no wonder the smells remain in the room.
Once emptied and well cleaned, it would now be good to perfume it: to do this, mix 2 cups of baking soda, 6 to 8 tablespoons of water and as many essential oils as you like. Pour them in the form of silicone ice cubes and let them dry for 24 hours. Not insignificant is the use of baking soda: this powerful cleaner has excellent disinfectant and deodorizing properties. Combined with the other ingredients, it effectively and quickly eliminates all bad smells.

Decorative air freshener

Here’s a good idea! Have you ever put potpourri in your bathroom or near the toilet? Excellent move. Besides the fact that they are not eternal, if you do not change them regularly, their effect will be completely in vain. Here is another alternative to test: take a small empty vase, sprinkle it with a dose of deodorizing pearls and place an artificial flower on top. This will give the room a nice decorative touch and give the whole environment a special scent. Again, do not forget to take a look every now and then to see if the perfume is still so vibrant.

Scent the bathroom with baking soda

As mentioned above, baking soda is a perfect ally to deodorize the different areas of the house. With this very versatile white powder you can create your own homemade perfume. Here’s how to do it: take a small jar, sprinkle it with baking soda and add a few drops of essential oil (citrus, lavender or vanilla oil). Place this jar in a strategic place in the bathroom: a fabulous scent will escape to perfume the whole room. Don’t forget to change the mixture regularly to freshen up the area.
