There are many ways to reuse fragrant rose petals. This grandmother’s trick is especially effective for scenting the room! The process is also very simple.
First, dry the rose petals for a few days. Then place them in a jar and pour olive oil so that it completely covers the petals. Leave it on the windowsill for five days, making sure it gets plenty of sunlight. After 5 days, strain the oil and add it to another jar. Prepare a homemade deodorant spray

Will need:
- 10 drops of an essential oil of your choice
- 2 tablespoons baking soda
- 300 ml of water
Take a measuring jug, add water and dissolve 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Then add the essential oil to the scent of your choice. Choose lavender or sandalwood essential oil, depending on your preferences. Pour everything into a spray bottle. The absorbent and deodorant action of baking soda will eliminate all bad odors from the bathroom, and the essential oils will provide a deliciously scented touch.

Of course, you can buy some at DIY or decoration stores, but nothing beats the satisfaction of preparing one right at home. Assemble various elements such as rose petals, citrus peel, cloves or cinnamon sticks. In the case of bark and petals, let them dry on your balcony for a few days. If it’s winter, you can dry them on the radiators. Mash them gently to release their fragrance or simply mix them for a while.

The use of alcohol and fabric softener.
This artisanal method is very effective to perfume your bathroom , even if it doesn’t have a window.
You will need to create a 2-ingredient spray that you can easily find at home using just fabric softener and denatured alcohol.
Put 200 ml of fabric softener (preferably concentrated) in a measuring cup, then 200 ml of alcohol. Pour everything into a spray bottle and shake well. This solution can be sprayed on toilets, but also on tiles. This is also a great method for toilet odors. In this case, spray the solution into the toilet and let it sit for a few minutes, then flush the toilet.
