The right pillow
For comfortable sleep, choose a pillow adapted to your position: not very thick and soft for sleeping on your stomach, avoiding excessive arching; a pillow of the right thickness for side sleepers, filling the space under the shoulder; and a soft pillow, neither too firm nor too soft, for those who sleep on their back. Change your pillow every three years to maintain good hygiene.
The right bed base
The choice of bed base is crucial and must be adapted to the type of mattress you are using. Box springs are generally recommended for innerspring mattresses because they provide additional support and help extend the life of the mattress by absorbing some of the impact of body weight. In contrast, slatted bases provide a more even support surface and are versatile, adapting well to different types of mattresses, including those made of foam, latex, or memory foam. A suitable base not only improves the comfort of the mattress, but also ensures better ventilation, which is essential for the longevity and hygiene of the mattress
