2. Sodium chloride
Salt has several practical uses around the house beyond its culinary use. Before you dump scalding water down the drain, sprinkle around half a cup of salt. Dissolve any hard-to-remove deposits with the salt.
3. Baking soda and vinegar
Vinegar and baking soda can handle any task. Pour half a cup of baking soda and half a cup of vinegar down the drain. The next step is to dump a large quantity of boiling water down the drain. When used together, these ingredients are very effective in dissolving greasy buildup and other blockages.
4. The plunger head
Plunge it in if everything else fails! They are able to clear drains and toilets with relative ease. If these solutions don’t work, though, it might be time to call in the experts to clear up your clogged drain.
