The properties of salt, very useful at home.
Salt is never lacking in the kitchen and can be a valid aid not only at food level, but also to maintain the hygiene of clothes, food, objects and surfaces.
Very useful for washing fruits and vegetables, it will help to eliminate all the bacteria present in food thanks to its known antiseptic properties. Simply put fruit and vegetables in a bowl with water and salt and let them soak for about 15 minutes. Don’t worry about ending up with salty fruit, a good rinse and the salt will disappear completely.

Another little known use for salt has to do with discoloured clothes. Soak for an hour in cold water, salt and vinegar and your faded clothes will regain their colour.

Suitable not only for disinfecting but also for removing unpleasant odours. Salt is often used in combination with baking soda on the inside of shoes to stop bad smells.
