We present to your attention a very successful recipe for homemade marinated mackerel. According to this recipe, the fish is slightly salty, very tender and appetizing. Mackerel can be eaten within 5-6 hours of cooking.
Required ingredients:
- mackerel – 3 pieces;
- water – 250 ml;
- sale – 25 g;
- sugar – 15 g;
- black peppercorns – 5 pieces;
- allspice peas – 3 pieces;
- bay leaf – 2 pieces;
- cloves – 2 pieces;
- non-spicy mustard – 1 tbsp.
Cooking method:
When choosing fish for this recipe, pay attention to the freshness of the mackerel. The fish should be large and without damage. Wash the thawed mackerel, clean it of entrails and black films, cut the fins and separate the fillets. Carefully remove any visible bones from the fillet.
Prepare the brine. Pour water into the pan, add salt, pepper, all spices and mustard. We choose not strong mustard. Mix everything thoroughly and put on the stove, bring to a boil. Next, let the brine cool completely.
