Preparation:
In a bowl, mix instant coffee, sugar and hot water.
Use an electric mixer or hand mixer to beat the mixture at high speed. This will create a thick, creamy foam. You can do this by hand, but it will take more time and effort.
Continue beating until the mixture is golden brown and the texture resembles whipped cream. This usually takes 2-5 minutes.
If you prefer a hot drink, heat the milk in a saucepan or in the microwave until hot but not boiling. Pour the hot milk into a cup.
If you prefer a cold drink, fill a cup with ice cubes then pour the milk over the ice cubes.
Finally, spoon the Dalgona coffee mixture onto the hot or cold milk.
If you like, you can sprinkle a little cocoa powder or cinnamon on the coffee mixture to decorate.
Stir well before drinking to combine the coffee mixture with the milk.
