Many will say that now there is no problem protecting yourself from annoying mosquitoes and midges. I bought any spray at the store, sprayed myself and the insects no longer bother me.

However, the majority, including myself, constantly forget about protective equipment when going out into nature or to the countryside.

Moreover, modern aerosols have their disadvantages:

– short-term effect, an hour or two and the product needs to be reapplied;

– specific smell of chemicals;

– possible allergic reaction.

I want to share with you a very simple, safe and effective way to protect yourself from blood-sucking insects and various midges.

I learned about it from a huntsman friend with extensive experience of living close to nature.

You won’t need any effort or time, and you definitely won’t forget the main component for it at home, since it is located in the natural conditions where you are going. Mother Nature has done everything necessary for us. We just have to find and correctly use her gifts.

So, for this method you will need to find the most common mushroom, which is called tinder fungus.

It is most often found on birch trees, especially on old trees. If you look closely, you will most likely see a parasitic fungus.

You need to remove the top layer from the mushroom; do this with a regular sharp knife.

Then cut several thin pieces from the mushroom.

It is best if the thickness of the slices is not more than 2-3 mm. I got it like this:
