How to make them bloom

The secret ingredient you will need is constantly used in every kitchen. These are eggs that, after having used them for your homemade preparations, you may still need. In fact, for your violets to bloom, you will need   eggshells.

First of all you will have to avoid throwing them away, run them under running water and then let them dry in the sun, if possible. Alternatively, you can place them on a baking tray and put them in the oven for a quarter of an hour at 150 degrees. Once the eggshells are dry, you will need to crumble them. To do this, you can use your hands or the back of a spoon. The operation will have to be rough since the egg shells will have to be passed through the mixer.

The peel powder thus obtained will be useful for your violets.  It will be an extremely beneficial compound because it has a high calcium content, essential for the development of plants.

However, before putting it on your violas, you will need to do a little maintenance. Specifically, you will need to cut off all dried flowers and leaves. This happens often, especially after the plant has flowered. Only then will the violets be able to bloom again. If dried flowers and leaves remain on the plant for too long, they could prevent the growth of new shoots. The same goes for dried leaves. Leave the leaves small and new so they sprout more quickly.

Before placing the eggshells in the soil, it will be necessary to stir the latter a little. It can be done with the help of a spatula or, if it is a small vase, with kitchen scissors. It must be said, however, that the pots should be changed frequently.

With the help of a spoon, pour the eggshell powder   obtained previously on top. It should cover the entire part of the soil near the roots of the plant. You can also loosen the soil so that the dust penetrates to the bottom.

The next step is to give the plant water. This operation must be repeated every night to guarantee the plant the calcium needs it needs. After a few weeks, you will see your violet bloom like never before.
