The Risks of Plugging Heaters into Power Strips
Mobile heaters, due to their ability to generate a significant amount of energy, should be plugged directly into an individual socket. When connected to a multiple socket or extension cord, the risk of overheating the socket increases considerably, which can cause serious short circuits or lead to dramatic consequences, such as starting a fire.
