Put the rice in a bowl and cover it with water.
Mix by hand and wash well.
Then filter through a coarse strainer.
Soak a cotton swab in rice water and wash the orchid leaves with it.
This will kill all germs, including bugs.
At the same time, it provides orchids with the necessary nutrients.
Repeat this process after 2 weeks.
You can also pour the rice water into a sprayer.
Then spray it evenly over the top and bottom of the leaves.
Now take a bowl, put the orchid in it and pour the same rice water over the roots.
Let the orchid soak in this way for about 1 hour so that the roots absorb as many nutrients as possible.
Then let the excess water drain, dry and repeat this fertilization every 14 days. .
You can also freeze the rice water.
When you need it, just grab some ice cubes, let them defrost , and wait for the water to reach room temperature.
This way you will always have good fertilizer on hand.
Note:
Never place cubes of frozen rice water directly on the orchid, as they do not like the cold.
After just 2-3 weeks you will notice the difference.
The leaves will be evergreen, new roots will grow and it will flower profusely.
