This feature makes them incredibly agile and able to move between the walls and furniture of the house with extreme ease. The main reason geckos choose our homes as shelter is to search for food .
Being insect predators, they find the home environment an ideal place to hunt flies, mosquitoes and other annoying nocturnal insects. Artificial lights outside windows attract them , and the presence of insects makes staying indoors even more tempting. Furthermore, if the house is not properly cleaned they may find dirt and food crumbs to feed on .

When we are faced with these unexpected visitors, the natural reaction may be to chase them away or even eliminate them.
