There is nothing more unpleasant than yellow streaks in the toilet bowl. However, this is not just a purely visual issue, but also strictly linked to hygiene. So how can we solve this problem? Here are some simple tricks!
lemon and vinegar
The lemon-vinegar combination can be useful not only in the kitchen, but in many other areas. Among the thousand uses, it is worth mentioning that of removing yellow streaks from the toilet bowl. You can use a spray bottle, or vaporizer, with three quarters vinegar and one quarter lemon juice (make sure it is well filtered of seeds and pulp).
At this point, all we have to do is spray it on the toilet strips and wait at least a couple of hours. Once the necessary time has passed, proceed with a little effort and we will see our toilet as good as new!
Goodbye to yellow streaks in the toilet with baking soda and Marseille soap
Two other items that are frequently used in household chores are Marseille soap and baking soda. Combined, they are excellent for yellow toilet lines.
Simply spread the baking soda over the yellowed areas and wait for it to adhere completely. Then, add a few flakes of Marseille soap, diluted with a little water (be careful not to spill the baking soda).
You have to leave everything at least one night and that’s it!
