Kitchen cloths or towels
Luxury clothing designer, Nancy Koltes, recommends not using fabric softener when washing towels. In fact, these create an enveloping patina around the clothing that traps dirt and makes the towel less absorbent. It is preferable to replace the fabric softener with white vinegar.
Baking sheets
To clean your pans thoroughly and thoroughly, prepare a solution of 1/4 cup baking soda and add a little hydrogen peroxide, just enough to make a dough. The result will surprise you 🙂

5.Trash
It is important to wash the trash can at least once a week. The waste you collect in plastic bags can leak and dirty the container. Also, instead of using any detergent you buy at the supermarket, you can use homemade detergent with vinegar or citrus peel to wash it.

6.Coffee maker
A really useful tip is to boil white vinegar instead of water in the coffee maker itself once a month. It will not only be sanitized but also descaled, thus avoiding those dangerous residues that can clog your moka pot.

The dishwasher is undoubtedly a fast and effective means. But it would be preferable to wash the knives by hand with warm water and regular dish soap, as you have surely noticed, after each wash in the dishwasher they become more and more matte.

It’s disgusting how much germs and dirt build up along the seal. Never forget to thoroughly clean this important detail; a cloth moistened with vinegar or lemon will be enough.

9.The microwave
The correct way to clean the microwave is to place a container with water and vinegar inside. Then turn on the oven at maximum temperature for about two minutes and dry with a cloth.

Handles and knobs

 

Touching handles, refrigerator knobs and kitchen cabinets, as we all know, allows the spread of germs, after continuing to cook food and touching the same handles the result is evident, so using an antibacterial on these surfaces is truly fundamental.

Here is an excellent homemade disinfectant spray that you can use on all washable surfaces in your home, with an antibacterial and antifungal effect:

500 ml of distilled water
25 drops of tea tree essential oil
25 drops of lavender essential oil
