DIY Carpet cleaner for a machine – This cleaner also removes smells from the carpet (such as from pet urine!).

1. In a container, mix together the hot water, peroxide, white vinegar, Dawn dish soap, and fabric softener.

2. Stir the mixture slowly until well combined.

3. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your carpet cleaning machine (such as a Bissell ProHeat Machine).

4. Add the prepared mixture to the machine’s reservoir as directed.

5. Use the carpet cleaner machine to clean your carpets as usual
