Sharpen any kitchen knife to razor sharpness! You don’t even need a whetstone. All the tools and materials used are already in your home! You can sharpen scissors in the same way.

Sharpening a kitchen knife

Spread a little toothpaste on both sides of the knife blade. This is an additional abrasive for sharpening. Leave it like this for a couple of minutes.

Take any  ceramic  dish: bowl, plate, cup, etc. Sprinkle a little ordinary  salt on the bottom . Add a little table  vinegar 9% . Using your fingers, stir and spread the mixture over the sides. It turned out to be an excellent, soft, natural abrasive!

Now start sharpening your knife. Place it at approximately an angle of  15-20 degrees , move it from top to bottom. When you have sharpened one side, repeat the same with the other.
