Instructions:
– Mix equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and water.
– Swish the mixture in your mouth for about 30 seconds and spit it out.
– Use this rinse 2-3 times a week to kill bacteria and promote gum health.
3. Oil Pulling with Coconut Oil
Ingredients:
– 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
Instructions:
– Swish the oil around your mouth for 15-20 minutes.
– Spit out the oil into a trash can (not the sink to avoid clogging).
– Rinse your mouth with warm water and brush your teeth as usual.
– Perform this once daily to reduce plaque and bacteria.
4. Tea Tree Oil Paste
Ingredients:
– A few drops of tea tree oil
– Toothpaste
Instructions:
– Add a few drops of tea tree oil to your regular toothpaste.
– Brush your teeth as usual with this mixture.
– Use it twice a day to alleviate gum irritation and bacterial growth.
5. Aloe Vera Gel
Ingredients:
– Pure aloe vera gel
Instructions:
– Apply a small amount of aloe vera gel directly to the affected gums.
– Leave it on for about 10 minutes, then rinse with water.
– You can also use an over-the-counter aloe vera mouthwash.
– Repeat this 2-3 times daily to soothe gum inflammation.
6. Green Tea
Ingredients:
– 1 green tea bag
– 1 cup of hot water
Instructions:
– Steep the green tea bag in hot water for about 5 minutes.
– Drink one cup daily to benefit from its anti-inflammatory properties.
– Green tea can also help reduce bleeding and swelling of gums.
