Here's the finished pumpkin.

To finish off my pumpkin door hanger, I put together a simple bow for the top of the door hanger. All I did was lay 6 pieces of ribbon in a star pattern ( 2 buffalo plaid, 2 natural, 2 thin velvet).

I zip-tied them in the center.

Then I cut a piece of the buffalo plaid ribbon, folded that in half, and zip-tied that bow on top of the other ribbon.

I glued a couple of greenery leaves over the bow (it hides the zip ties!), then a small clump of Spanish moss, and a wood stem (they sell bags at the Dollar Tree…if you see them grab them!! They look great in faux pumpkins too!!)

A teeny sprig of white flowers finished off this door hanger.

Well, isn’t that a cute idea for something other than a wreath for your front door!! It was really easy to make..the hardest part was cutting the wire at the beginning!

If you aren’t a fan of the buffalo check mixed beads you could do just natural beads or even dye them any color you like. Go check out my Wood Bead Wreath to see the cool and super easy way I dyed my beads!! I have hundreds of Fall decorating ideas so stop by for a visit!!
