Copper is another material that snails detest because when it comes into contact with their mucus, it sends signals that are annoying to them. You can arrange copper wires around plants and crops by adding sandpaper discs.
As mentioned above, one of the smells most detested by snails is coffee: use a nebulizer and spray it cold on the plants or sprinkle coffee grounds around the plant you want to protect.
