How to grow the Moses Cradle plant to perfume your home?

You can fertilize your plant   every two weeks from April to November to help it flower and ensure good growth. To do this, add a little fertilizer for flowering plants to the irrigation water. If you plan to travel during this period, fertilize the Moses Cradle with a slow-release granular fertilizer. Outside of these months, your plant can do without fertilizer.

Transplant

You can repot your plant every 2 years in a larger pot, taking care to change the soil. If you want to multiply your plant, remember to separate some rhizomes from the central mass and prick them into small pots, using a substrate composed of a mixture of potting soil and compost. By rhizome we mean the underground stem, which carries roots and aerial stems.

Diseases and Parasites

Winter is a difficult season for the Berceau de Moïse, as it is for most green indoor plants.  As the surrounding air is relatively dry, your plant may be prone to pests, such as red spiders and mites, but also aphids and scale insects.   So remember to spray the foliage with onion juice diluted in warm water,   which will act as a natural insecticide.

If you provide your Cradle of Moses plant with these conditions, you will be able to keep it in your home for a long time and enjoy generous flowering all year round, even if you don’t have a green thumb.
