Water cake: no eggs, no milk, no butter

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Mix the flour and baking powder, then add the sugar and the lemon peel. In another container, mix the oil and water. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the water and oil, stirring well.

Once the oven is heated, put the dough in a grit cake tin and cook for 45 minutes. Always check the baking of the cake with a toothpick before removing it from the oven.

The water cake is a gentle and light dessert, because it does not contain eggs or butter. You can also add a pinch of vanilla to give even more flavor.
