The Marie Kondo method consists of 9 steps, each of which must be performed in its entirety before moving on to the next. The steps to follow are:
Disfere yourself of everything that does not make you happy or that has no profound meaning;
Keep only what brings joy into our lives.
Order by categories, not by place. It means that you have to put all the clothes in order, not just the bedroom, for example.
It always starts with clothes: it is easier to get rid of them because you know immediately if they are needed or not, and they are easier to give.
It organizes the remaining clothes vertically. Form small rectangles with clothes, then arrange them vertically as if it were a library.
Don't put it back. The best thing to do is to start and finish one category at a time.
Give value to the objects you keep. If they don’t have a meaning, there’s no reason to preserve them.
Clean it in solitude. Other people might convince you to not to get helpless.
Don’t buy new furniture to store stuff. The furniture you have is enough.
The Marie Kondo method is great helps, especially for nostalgic and compulsive and non- pathological accumulators. If you’re trying to put everything in order, try following this method.
