But how should it be treated to make it look like new again?

Limescale in water

The term “limescale” refers to the limescale deposits that can form in hot, hard water. These deposits can build up in pipes, boilers and other plumbing systems and cause problems such as restricting water flow, damaging appliances and causing taste and odor problems.

To remove limescale deposits, special chemicals can be used or a water filter can be installed that reduces the amount of limescale.

Alternatively, you can use distilled or demineralized water, which does not contain calcium carbonate.

Limescale can cause some problems when it builds up in plumbing fixtures and household appliances. Let’s look at some of the ways in which limescale can be harmful.

It can hinder the flow of water as limescale builds up in the pipes and reduces the flow of water, making it difficult to use showers, faucets and other fittings.

Not to mention that limescale can give the water a metallic taste or an unpleasant smell, making it difficult to drink or cook with. Limescale can also make the water less healthy as it can contain bacteria and other undesirable substances.
