How to clean and decalcify the oven with the pot method

To put the method into practice we need a pan suitable for cooking in the oven. These are pots able to withstand very high temperatures, almost always made of ceramic, soapstone, cast iron or stainless steel.

Fill the pot with water, then pour half a glass of vinegar and the juice of a lemon. The steam of this solution will help clean the oven and neutralize bad odors.

Set the oven to 250 degrees, then place the pan and let it sit for 30 minutes.

Immediately after, turn off the oven and let it cool. Before it is completely cold, being careful not to smell it, use a cloth or sponge to remove any residues, which will be gone easily.
