If you don’t want to give up the use of the knife, you can always use a little toothpaste and a cup of ceramics. To do this, here are the steps to follow:
Place a toothpaste paste on the blade of the knife to sharpen;
Apply it on both sides and over the entire surface;
Toothpaste acts as a cleanser and a stain remover, which helps to remove stains at the surface level;
Then take a cup of ceramics and flip it over;
On the bottom pour a tablespoon of salt and a tablespoon of white vinegar;
Make sure to put some on the edges;
Tilt the knife on it by 25 ;
With your right hand the knife will hold well and the left hand will serve to hold the cup well;
Move the knife down to reproduce the sharpening gesture;
Repeat several times and for 5 minutes.
After the time, put in clean water and wash;
Test with a piece of ginger and you will see if the knife cuts well;
If this is not the case, the operation will have to be repeated.
