Never forget that salt is a cheap and versatile remedy for having very soft towels even without softener. The salt rebalances the hardness of the water, which is often calcareous and therefore responsible for the hardening of the towels. You can add a little salt with each wash to balance the water and make your towels much softer!
Salt, baking soda and vinegar
You can combine several natural remedies to get a winning blend and have very soft towels even without softener. You will always need the famous basin of warm water in which you can pour a glass of vinegar, 2 ec of salt up and 1 hen of baking soda.
You will find that a reaction occurs in which the bicarbonate balances the properties of vinegar. Soak the towels and let them soak for a while. Once you have dried them well, there is a little trick you can follow. To “lift” the fibers of the sponge and return a soft appearance to our towel, many people pass a soft brush on the fabric, restoring the function of the fibers and revitalizing them. Wash them separately
