There is no need to talk about the fact that garlic is healthy. But we rarely think about what to do with garlic peels; usually, this “waste” is immediately thrown into the trash. Our neighbor is an experienced summer resident and in the fall he shared with us a few tips that we took note of. So here are 6 reasons why you shouldn’t throw away garlic peels.
To preserve crops
Garlic waste has antiseptic and antibacterial properties. To keep vegetables fresh, just sprinkle them with peels.
Save indoor plants
If the flowers on the windowsill are affected by mites or aphids, prepare a homemade infusion. You need to fill the peel with water and leave it for 4 days in a dark place. Then strain and pour the liquid into a spray bottle. Plants should be sprayed once a week.
