Peel for a tasty broth
Chicken broth goes well with spicy flavor, but not everyone likes the heat that garlic gives off during cooking. To avoid the spicy flavor, just add clean peels to the boiling broth. After 10-15 minutes, it can be thrown away.
Pest control
Most summer residents grow garlic on their own plot, so the husks should not be missing. When planting potatoes, you can place a handful of peels in the hole. The Colorado potato beetle does not tolerate expressive aromas. The same can be done with eggplants and tomatoes.
Protective whitewashing of trees
Another life hack for the country. To enhance the protective properties of lime, add garlic peels to the prepared solution.
The rule of good compost
If we want to get rid of the peels, for us it is not in the usual way. Do not throw it in the trash, but rather place it in a compost bin. This trick will add nutrients to the pile.
