Crush the Aspirin: Grind the aspirin tablets into a fine powder. You can use a mortar and pestle or place them in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
Add to Laundry: Pour the crushed aspirin into the detergent dispenser of your washing machine, along with your regular detergent.
Wash: Run a wash cycle using cold water and select the “whites” option. Aspirin works best in cooler water temperatures.
Why It Works:
Aspirin contains acetylsalicylic acid, which helps break down mineral deposits and hard water stains that can make whites look dull. It’s also useful for tackling sweat stains.
