Remember also to leave the washing machine door open between one wash and another, to aerate the inside of the washing machine and prevent the accumulation of moisture and mold.

8. Always do short washing cycles

Short washing cycles, with cold water or without centrifuge are suitable for a little dirty laundry. As much as you can save with these types of washing, they are not ideal for frequent washing.

9. Abuse of the centrifuge

Another frequent mistake is to use the centrifuge too much or program it to make too fast rounds. High speed centrifuge is only recommended for cotton and polyester garments.

Never use the centrifuge for silk, linen, or any polyamide fabric: you run the risk of ruining them.

10. Do not dry laundry after washing

A laundry that remains moist lends itself to the formation of bad smells, caused by bacteria. The laundry must be removed from the washing machine as soon as the washing cycle ends, and it must be dried always.
