Remove bedspreads and sheets and shake the mattress to remove the residues that have accumulated there.
Mix a tablespoon of laundry detergent with a liter of cold water until foam.
Apply the foam on the mattress and rub with a sponge all over the surface, especially on stains.
Let the mattress dry, if possible, in the sun, or help yourself with a hairdryer.
Remove stains with baking soda
If you have a particularly old mattress you will probably also be stained. Humidity and dirt can cause dark spots that are difficult to eliminate. Below we explain how to eliminate them with baking soda.
Mix 1 part of baking soda with 2 parts of cold water.
