What would become of our floor if we didn’t always have a moth at hand? This very useful tool, however, has a disadvantage: it is almost impossible to keep it clean.
Over time the mocio takes on a grayish color and an unpleasant smell, caused by the dirt and bacteria that accumulate during each use.
On the moth is deposited the dirt, and the humidity to which it is constantly exposed favors the proliferation of bacteria that become impossible to be eliminated even with chemicals.
The most effective method to keep the moth clean is to wash it and dry it, preferably under the sun’s rays, to reduce the buildup of bacteria. Below we explain how to do it.
