In medicine, Vietnamese coriander has a spicy, hot taste, an aromatic smell, and warm properties. It is known for its ability to dispel cold, improve eyesight, enhance intelligence, aid digestion, and disinfect. Vietnamese coriander is said to warm the stomach, help with digestion, and dispel cold. It also improves mental clarity, brightens the eyes, and strengthens the liver and kidneys.

Uses and Benefits of Vietnamese Coriander:

  • Bloating and Indigestion: Wash a handful of Vietnamese coriander, crush it, and squeeze out the juice. Rub the pulp on your stomach, focusing on the abdominal area.
  • Summer Heatstroke: Crush fresh Vietnamese coriander, then squeeze the pulp and boil it.
  • Cure Indigestion: Use Vietnamese coriander as a spice, or boil 10-20g of the whole plant after meals.
  • Stomachache, Cold Stomach, Vomiting, Heatstroke, Thirst: Take 25-30ml of fresh Vietnamese coriander juice 2 times a day.
  • Scabies, Ringworm, Skin Infections: Soak the entire Vietnamese coriander plant in alcohol. Take the alcohol and crush or rub it on the affected areas, applying the residue as a bandage.
