Note : You can also use salt to keep your toilet bowl clean. Put about 100g of coarse salt in it and sprinkle it around the edges. Leave it for about three hours and then wash the toilet bowl as usual. It will be sparkling clean and without any unpleasant smell!
Other effective solutions to unclog the toilet
– Make a drain snake from a wire hanger
A more serious clog may require more tedious manual work, but without using the suction cup. You can make a homemade drain snake by unwinding a wire coat hanger until it is straight. Insert one end of the thread into the clogged area to loosen lime and debris until it flows down the drain.
– Bleach, vinegar or club soda
Because it can break down residue quickly, bleach is a great solution. Simply pour 2-3 cups of the product into the toilet bowl, wait 10-15 minutes, and flush. You’ll find that this method works best for very clogged toilets. White wine vinegar, meanwhile, also has something to say: it can unclog and clean the toilet. In a saucepan, heat 1/2 liter of vinegar with 1 liter of water. Then pour it all into the bowl and let it soak for 20 minutes. When you flush, you’ll notice the unclogging. Finally, the soda trick is less likely to work, but it’s proven to work. Thanks to its acids (carbonic and phosphoric), a simple can of cola can also help clean the toilet.
– Absorbent paper
This trick is even recommended by plumbers themselves. Lift the toilet seat and literally wrap it in aluminum foil.
