Is it better to drink borough or bottled water?
While some people prefer to drink bottled water because they are concerned about the quality of tap water, others are used to drinking conventional boiling water. The solution lies in two recent studies.
Specifically, the researchers examined five different water bottles of three well-known brands (names were reserved). They found an average of 240,000 particles, mostly in nanometric form, from seven different types of plastic.
While nanoplastics, which measure less than 1 micron, are considered more dangerous because they can easily penetrate organs such as the intestines, lungs, enter the bloodstream and even reach the heart and brain, previous studies have focused on microplastics, which are a piece less than 5 mm and greater than 1 micron (1/1000 mm). Eventually, they enter the fetus after passing through the placenta.
